Enter a code when you choose a plan
Go to Settings › Billing & plan and pick Monthly or Annual.
Select Choose plan on the plan you want. A short summary opens before checkout.
Select Have a coupon code?, type the code (upper or lower case both work) and select Apply.
Check the new price and the sentence under it, for example “You pay $800/month for 3 months, then $1,000/month.”, then select Continue to checkout. Stripe Checkout shows the same discount on the first invoice.
How long a discount lasts
- Once: the first invoice only (the first month, or the first year on annual billing).
- For a number of months: every invoice in those months. On annual billing that is the first yearly invoice (or more, for codes longer than 12 months).
- Forever: every invoice for as long as the subscription runs.
While a discount is active, the Current plan card shows it, for example “LAUNCH20 · 20% off for 3 more months”. When it ends, invoices go back to the plan price automatically.
Already subscribed?
Codes are entered when you first choose a plan. If you already have a subscription and received a code, contact us and we apply it to your subscription from the next invoice. Only one discount can be active at a time.
Troubleshooting
“That code isn't valid. Check it and try again.”
Check the spelling: codes use letters, digits, dashes and underscores, without spaces. The code may also not have started yet or may have been withdrawn.
“That code has expired or is no longer available.”
The offer ended or all of its uses were taken. Ask whoever gave you the code for a new one.
“That code can't be used with this plan.”
Some codes only work for certain plans. Try the plan the offer mentions, or switch between Monthly and Annual if the offer names a billing cycle.
“Your organization has already used this code.”
Each organization can use a code a limited number of times, usually once.
“That code is for new customers only.”
The code is meant for organizations subscribing for the first time.
“Too many coupon attempts. Wait a minute and try again.”
To prevent guessing, each organization can try 10 codes per minute. Wait a minute, then enter the code again.
“That code can't be used for online checkout right now.”
Contact us and we'll apply the discount for you.
