White-label branding for reports

Put your logo, colors, contact details and footer on the HTML report, the Word summary and the PowerPoint briefing.

Set up your branding

  1. Go to Settings and, on the Report branding card, select Manage branding. The Branding page opens.

  2. Enter a Company name (“Prepared by”). Leave it empty to use your organization name.

  3. Under Logo, select Upload logo (or Replace logo). Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP image of up to 512 KB and 1024 × 1024 px; a transparent or white background works best.

  4. Set the Primary colour (cover, headings and accents) and, optionally, the Accent colour (highlights on the cover). Use the color picker or type a hex value like #0f766e; Default resets a color.

  5. Optionally add Contact email, Contact phone, Website and a Footer / disclaimer (plain text, up to 500 characters, shown in the report footer and on every Word and PowerPoint page).

  6. Decide whether to Show “Powered by M365Assessments”. Turn it off for a fully white-labelled report.

  7. Check the Preview and select Save branding. (Discard changes reverts your edits.)

Color and contrast rules

  • White text on your primary color must reach a 4.5:1 contrast ratio (WCAG AA). The page shows the ratio as you type (for example “White text contrast 5.5:1 — passes WCAG AA.”).
  • A primary color that is too light, or almost black, is replaced with the default purple in reports until you pick another shade.
  • An accent color that isn’t readable on the dark cover is replaced with the default gold.

When your branding is used

  • Branding applies to assessments that start after you save. Existing reports keep the look they were created with; run a new assessment to rebrand.
  • Word and PowerPoint use PNG or JPEG logos. With a WebP logo, the Office files show your company name instead of the logo.
  • Your logo is stored privately and checked when you upload it (the file must really be a PNG, JPEG or WebP image; SVG isn’t accepted).

If your plan doesn’t include white-label

The card shows Upgrade to white-label and the page shows “Not included in” your plan. Reports still say “Prepared by” your organization name, with the M365Assessments look and “Powered by M365Assessments”. You can set up and save your branding in advance: it applies automatically once white-label is enabled for your organization (Changing plans).

Troubleshooting

“Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP image (SVG is not accepted).”

Export your logo as PNG (recommended) and upload it again.

“The logo must be 512 KB or smaller.” or “at most 1024 × 1024 px”

Resize or compress the image. A 600 × 200 px PNG is plenty for reports.

My colors don’t show in the report

Check the contrast message under the color fields, and remember that only assessments started after saving use the new branding.

“Only organization admins can change branding.”

Ask an Admin or Owner, or have your role changed.
